Prayer Book Quiz — Week 2

1928 Books of Common Prayer are going to the five people who answered last week’s question correctly. (See below.)

This weeks question:

Where in the 1928 Prayer Book can we find St. Luke’s account of Christ breaking bread with the two disciples at Emmaus?

Send your answer by Friday, April 9 along with your snail mail address to tcranmer@etf1928.org.

The Prayer Book Quiz is a great way to get your Sunday School kids and youth groups engaged in learning holy scripture and the practice of our religion through the 1928 Book of Common Prayer.

Prayer Book Quiz — Week 1

March 29, 2010 — Today ETF is launching a Prayer Book Quiz. Test your knowledge about The Ten Commandments in this week’s Prayer Book Quiz.

This week’s question:  In the Decalogue, what is the Fourth Commandment?

Every Monday we’ll post a new question about the 1928 Book of Common Prayer. Each of the first five participants who answer the question correctly will receive a gently-used hardcover copy of the 1928 BCP. Use it for your personal devotions, or take it to church and read it during parts of “post-Christian” rites that might be objectionable to you.

Be among the first to answer. To be a player in the Prayer Book Quiz competition, send your answer to tcranmer@etf1928.org. A new question will appear every Monday.

We will not publish the names of the winners without their permission.

Visit “Prayer Book Friends,” the ETF Group page on Facebook, and join the discussion.
